Dark Gummich (Managing Director APC Tanzania) is a registered architect in Tanzania (AQRB) and in Germany (AK Hessen). Dark has been operating in the East African building sector since 2004. After working on behalf of German development agencies for several years, he built up Architectural Pioneering Consultants Ltd. in Dar es Salaam.

Gunter Klix (Managing Director APC Switzerland) is a registered architect in Switzerland (SIA) and in Tanzania (AQRB). Having designed and implemented high-profile buildings in several countries of Europe and East Africa, Gunter leads APCs design departments. Apart from professional practice, he is also involved in academia. Currently, he lectures at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU) and Ardhi University Dar es Salaam.

Irene Matafu (Registered Architect) holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Ardhi University in Dar es Salaam. She is an AQRB registered architect in Tanzania.

Comfort Mosha (Director) holds a Masters’ Degree in Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planning from Hafen City University (HCU) Hamburg/Germany and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She is a registered architect in Tanzania (AQRB). Beyond her responsibilities in the firm, she is a founding partner of ANZA magazine and a mentor to young Tanzanian professionals in the construction industry.

Magdalena Msimbe (Registered Architect) holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Ardhi University in Dar es Salaam. She is an AQRB registered architect in Tanzania.

Lucas Sager (Director) holds a Masters’ Degree in Architecture from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences/Switzerland and a Diploma as a draughtsman. He is a registered architect in Switzerland (SIA) and Tanzania (AQRB). Prior to joining APC, Lucas has worked as an architect in Switzerland and Tanzania for several years, while teaching as an assistant lecturer in the Master's course at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU).

Prof. Annika Seifert (Head of Research) is a registered architect in Switzerland. As a co-founder of DARCH Dar es Salaam Centre for Architectural Heritage she has spearheaded numerous initiatives on East African architectural history. Additionally, Annika pursues high-profile activities in academia, currently as Chair of Architecture and Energy at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU).

Simon England (Advisory Board) is a Construction Project Manager with several decades of experience in East Africa. Simon advises and trains APC teams in project management matters.
